Hi there! My name is Shayla Rog, and I have had a passion for web development for a long, long time. It was almost a decade ago when I first started dabbling in html and learning how to create absolutely amazing websites (okay they weren’t quite amazing back then), which eventually led me to pursue it as a career. I went on to receive my degree in Web Technology in 2010. Since then I have started brandcohesion, my own business focused on efficient and economical online branding.
I create cohesive brand images using gorgeous web design, solid development, social media platforms, and the knowledge to bring them all together! My passion is providing quality services to businesses and organizations who deserve to be able to show the world what they have to offer.
Web Development
My goal with brandcohesion is to provide valuable services to businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs who are looking to promote themselves and their brand on the internet, but don’t have the technical skills or time to do so. I strive to deliver beautiful and engaging websites that stand out from the crowd. I utilize WordPress as a Content Management System (CMS) which allows clients the ability to add content to their own sites with ease of access (and without having to dig through lines of code or always call up their web developer!) On the flip side, if you decide you would rather have me maintain your website, WordPress makes life easier for me, which equals less time, which in turn equals cheaper prices for my clients!
Social Media
Along with having a solid web presence, in today’s society it is vital to be engaged in social media. Platforms such as Facebook and Twitter have drastically changed the way businesses relate to their customers and organizations relate to their members. People can now find out new promotions, recommend products to their friends, get notified of upcoming sales, see what events an organization is putting on, and find out about local interests all within the online porthole of social media. Pages on Facebook and Twitter also receive high search engine ranking, making your brand even more visible! It is now nearly expected that any credible company, small business, non-profit, or organization should have a page on Facebook.
